LCS Spring 2022 Playoffs: Teams, Bracket, and Results

The League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) Spring 2022 Group Stage has now concluded and Playoffs is now underway. The Group Stage is still nothing to brush off though, as after Cloud9's dominating split they seemed to fall of at the end just before Playoffs. This allowed Team Liquid to clinch first place. The Group Stage also ended with a three-way tie between Evil Geniuses, Golden Guardians, and FlyQuest.

All matches will feature a live audience in the studio.

The winner of the LCS Spring 2022 Playoffs will earn a spot in the Mid-Season Invitational 2022. All matches will follow a Best-of-5 format.

A satisfying series between Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses spanning all five games, even a role swap between the solo laners in Game 4. Even though Team Liquid came up on top, Evil Geniuses was not far behind in terms of skill and draft.

Cloud9 finally claim a win in the playoffs, after making some roster changes. After swapping supports, the bot side picks for Cloud9 changed, opening a chance to play the lane dominant Caitlyn-Lux combo. C9's solo lanes also look in top form, both of which achieved a high KDA and impacted all three games of the series greatly. C9 prove to be the better team at the end of the day after this clean sweep.

Evil Geniuses were the favorites coming into this series, but nobody expected it to be this much of a stomp. FlyQuest's insistence on picking Orianna is baffling, and the one game that they did not draft this champion was the one game they won. Granted, this victory was from a great defense by FLY and a subsequent backdoor attempt.

Nevertheless, Evil Geniuses proved to be better in their individual roles.

Evil Geniuses move on to the Losers' Round 2, and will go against Cloud9.
