The Los Angeles Clippers are fresh off a win over their Staples Center rival Lakers. The Clippers showed the Western Conference's No. 1 seed exactly what they are capable of when everyone is healthy. Their depth is a large reason why they survived a stretch without Paul George and it is also why they were able to outlast the Lakers.

Still, the Clippers should look at every improvement option as they get ready for a title run. It is tough to really map out a trade for the Clippers because their depth is their team's strength. How much of that depth is worth sacrificing for a single player?

Los Angeles wants to leverage their first round pick. Rumors circulate the team is interested in Andre Iguodala and a number of veteran players. L.A. is already all in on a title since they traded away several first round picks to get Paul George.

Andre Drummond

If the Clipps are serious about a title they might as well keep going all-in by making a move for a third all-star to compliment George and Kawhi Leonard. Insert Andre Drummond as a center who makes sense for the Clippers in their quest for a title. Drummond is averaging 17.9 points and 15.9 rebounds along with almost two assists and blocks. He would make the Clippers defense even stronger than it already is.

The Pistons are in the middle of another underachieving season in the Eastern Conference and Drummond is rumored to be available. Drummond is only 26 and he can become a free agent after this season. It makes sense Detroit would consider trading him, especially if they continue to look at the playoff picture as an outsider. A full rebuild might be coming to the Pistons given fellow All-Star Blake Griffin's injuries and struggles this year too.

For the Clippers, Drummond would give the Clippers a true defensive seven-footer. That let's them matchup with Western Conference's elite teams.

Drummound would help them matchup with Utah and Denver, teams featuring elite centers like Rudy Gobert and Nikola Jokic. Even the Lakers, Thunder, and Houston have athletic seven footers like Dwight Howard, JaVale McGee, Steven Adams and Clint Capella who could give the Clippers problems in a seven game series.

L.A. does employ Ivica Zubac, who is playing well but he has never played more than 20 minutes a season and only played in one playoff series.

Not to mention, L.A. might also lose Montrezl Harrell in free agency. Those two along with Landry Shame or Jerome Robinson and a draft pick should be enough for the Pistons. Of course, some salary filler might need to get added too. Los Angeles would also get a jump start on re-signing Drummond as the third part of their core.

J.J. Redick

Rumors surfaced about the Clippers interest in SoCal native Jrue Holiday, as well as Knicks sharp shooter Marcus Morris, but they should look at another Pelicans player and shooter like J.J. Redick.

Redick knows the Clippers and head coach Doc Rivers well since he played four seasons with the Clippers at the end of Lob City. Not to mention, Redick is shooting almost 46 percent from the field. His contract is reasonable, paying him about $13 million each of the next two years. That's why the Pelicans are reluctant to trade him at the moment. That is until the Clippers make an offer they can't refuse.

Yes, he's 35-years-old and no he is not the same defender he was. However, the Clippers are already strong on defense. They need a player like Redick who can move without the ball and catch and shoot as they play off George and Leonard. Redick is a hot starter too.

The best part is the Pelicans are a young and rebuilding team which means it might be easy to pluck Redick from them. They could offer their draft pick along with Shamet or Robinson and a veteran salary match like Harkless.

Ultimately, the Clippers could look to acquire any number of players. Their depth and solid contracts make them really flexible and capable of making a move for any number of players.
