The injuries just keep piling up for the Orlando Magic. On Wednesday, it was Aaron Gordon who was forced to exit the ballgame against the Toronto Raptors with an apparent hamstring injury.

Following Orlando's 109-99 defeat at the hands of the defending champs, NBA insider Shams Charania revealed that the 24-year-old will be sidelined for “several days” due to the injury.

The report was not all that bad, all things considered. The silver lining here is that the injury seems to be minor, and it does not appear to be something that will keep Aaron Gordon out for an extended period. Then again, hamstring injuries are tricky and it would not be surprising if it keeps the Magic forward on the shelf for longer than initially anticipated.

Clearly, the injury bug has turned its ugly head on the Magic. Gordon's hamstring problem follows the recent ACL injury of Jonathan Isaac, who will miss the remainder of the season and likely a big chunk of the 2020-21 campaign.

Gordon was expected to pick up the slack in the absence of Isaac, something that he has been doing quite admirably for Orlando in what has been an injury-ridden campaign for the latter. With that said, fans are hoping that the hamstring issue is nothing serious.

There have been talks about Gordon being on the trading block, but Isaac's injury might just force the Magic  front office to rethink their strategy moving forward.
