Since being drafted by the Denver Nuggets with the 20th pick of the 2012 NBA Draft, French wing Evan Fournier has been a knockdown shooter. On Friday against the Dallas Mavericks Fournier hit five three-pointers to pass Hedo Turkoglu for third all-time on the franchise's career three-pointers list with 798 per Josh Robbins of The Athletic.

Fournier is now 183 three-pointers away from Dennis Scott who had 981 makes in his career. Fournier is also behind Jameer Nelson with 874 and Nick Anderson with 900.

The 27-year-old put up a team-high 28 points on 10-19 shooting from the field in Friday's 122-106 loss to the Mavericks.

In the midst of his eighth season and sixth with Orlando, the 6-foot-7 wing is having a career year. Putting up 18.7 points, 3.2 assists and 2.7 rebounds per game while shooting 46.2 percent from the field and 40.8 percent from deep, Fournier has been able to make a constant impact for the Magic.

This season, Fournier is also chucking up a career-high 6.5 three-pointer per game. Through 55 games, the Frenchman has made a total of 149 three-pointers meaning that he will be able to beat Scott's record likely by early next season.

Turkoglu, a 6-foot-10 point forward from Turkey, was an integral part of Orlando's success in the mid-2000s and shot 37.9 percent from beyond the arc in eight seasons with the Magic.
