During Thursday night's game between the Orlando Magic and Detroit Pistons at Amway Center, the official Twitter page for the Magic posted a couple of closeup photos of the shoes shooting guard Mario Hezonja was wearing.

They're pretty sweet kicks, that's for sure. Hezonja rocked a pair of custom Nikes with Super Mario on them during the game.

Unfortunately for Hezonja, his night was overshadowed by a really boneheaded turnover he committed in the second quarter during a 4-on-1 fastbreak. The Magic forward tried to get fancy with a between-the-legs pass that went horribly wrong for him. Can you say “Shaqtin a Fool?”

As anticipated, Mario Hezonja was immediately subbed out by Magic head coach Frank Vogel during the next whistle. In 18 minutes of action off the bench, Hezonja finished with four points on 2-of-4 shots from the field to go along with three rebounds and one steal.

Luckily for the Magic, they were able to play very well as a team on Thursday night and knocked off the Pistons with a 102-89 victory. The win, which improved Orlando's record to 12-24 on the season, snapped a nine-game losing streak that started back on Dec. 8.
