As the odds on favorite to have the highest NBA lottery odds for next season, the Orlando Magic are building towards the future. One big piece of that puzzle is set to return in Markelle Fultz.

The Magic point guard suffered a torn ACL in his left knee back in January 6, 2021 and has been working his way back ever since. Now after more than a year's worth of rehab, Markelle Fultz is set to make his season debut against the Indiana Pacers on Monday night.

Fultz spoke out via the Orlando Magic Pod Squad on what he was feeling with his return to action imminent.

“I'm just blessed just to be able to be where I am today,” said the Magic guard. :Going through an injury like this, being able to fight and just being able to be back on the court with my brothers and friends. I'm thankful for the process and journey I've been through.”

Markelle Fultz has shown flashes of his potential in his first 80 games in a Magic uniform thus far. He's only 23 years old and could still very well turn the corner and become a valuable piece for Orlando in the years to come.
