Mo Bamba, the sixth overall pick in this year’s draft and prized recruit of the Orlando Magic, is ready for the NBA season to start.

For a 20-year-old with sky-high potential and on the cusp of fulfilling a life-long dream, he can't be anything but excited.

One of the best things about being a rookie, however, is going head-to-head with the NBA’s premier superstars. ESPN's Chris Forsberg went around and conducted a survey, where Mo Bamba was asked about the player he's looking forward to playing against the most.

“Honestly, I'm looking forward to going against the best player and that's LeBron [James]. Not a lot of people can say they played against Kobe [Bryant]. And not a lot of people can say they played against [Michael] Jordan. Everyone who does kinda has a story about it. I'm looking forward to playing against LeBron.”

It’s not surprising how a handful of young players answered this question with James, who is widely considered as the best player in their generation. The Los Angeles Lakers star, who possesses a unique combination of skill, size, strength, and passing ability, is one of the most difficult players to guard in this league.

Still, it’s good that Bamba is up for the challenge, and although the Magic and Lakers only meet twice this season, he has a chance to leave a lasting impression, thanks to his defensive ability and athleticism.

Bamba better watch out his your head, though, as The King has a long history of dunking on people. Otherwise, the Magic rookie could end up being the feature on James' next poster.
