Tthe biggest move to come out of Thursday's trade deadline frenzy was the Orlando Magic sending All-Star big man Nikola Vucevic to the Chicago Bulls. The 30-year-old parts ways with Orlando after nearly a decade with the team.

Vucevic took to Twitter to send out a heartfelt message of thanks for the Magic organization and its fanbase:

Vucevic joined the Magic in 2012 via trade after playing his debut season with the Philadelphia 76ers. Over the span of nine years, Vucevic developed into one of the top big men in the league. This year, he was named an All-Star for the second time in three seasons.

The Magic sent Vucevic to Chicago in exchange for Wendell Carter Jr. and Otto Porter Jr. Orlando also get a couple of future first-round picks in the deal, which is exactly what they need now that they have engaged in a full rebuild. The Magic also parted ways with Evan Fournier and Aaron Gordon on Thursday on separate deals.

As for Vucevic, he now joins fellow All-Star Zach LaVine in Chicago. This boosts the Bulls' playoff hopes significantly, with the team now able to field one of the most potent guard-center duos in the league today. Currently, the Bulls are just a game and a half outside the playoffs picture in the Eastern Conference. It's been four long years since the Bulls made a postseason run, but with how things have developed, it appears that this might finally be their year.
