Magic center Nikola Vucevic achieved a notable milestone in his seventh year with the team, as he dished out his 1,035th assist to move 10th in the the team's all-time assists list as per the official twitter account of the Orlando Magic.

 

 

With that accomplishment, he moves past former guard Dennis Scott who played seven seasons for the team from 1990 until 1997. Ninth placed Brian Shaw is within his striking distance with 1,061 total assists for the Magic.

The franchise assists title belong to All-Star Guard Jameer Nelson, who was a major piece in the team's 2008-09 campaign in which they reached the NBA Finals. He registered a total of 3,501 assists in 10 seasons playing in Central Florida.

The feat came Tuesday night against the Eastern Conference leading Raptors whom they hosted at the Amway Center.

The towering Swiss has been impressed since coming over from the Sixers in 2012. He is averaging 16.1 points per game, 10.5 rebounds per game, and 2.4 assists per game for the Magic.

Vucevic has yet to make his first All-Star game appearance in his eight year career, but if he continues to keep his play going he'll be able to help the Magic be a significant force once again the east.

They currently have a three game win streak that enabled them improve to 9 wins and 8 losses for the season good for sixth place in the Eastern Conference.

In those wins, Vucevic scored 30, 36, and 28 points, respectively.
