Terence Ross has quietly been killing it for the Orlando Magic this season, and is set to make some history as the regular season winds down.

Per NBA.com, Ross is going to be the first player in franchise history to make at least 200 three-pointers as a reserve player.

On Wednesday, as part of his 23-point performance, Ross drilled his 200th 3-pointer of the season. Assuming he comes off the bench in Orlando’s final three games of the regular season, the 28-year-old will be the first player in NBA history to make at least 200 threes without starting in a single game.

Ross had another big performance on Wednesday as he helped the Magic to a 114-100 victory against the New York Knicks. The 28-year-old accounted for 23 points on a highly-efficient 9-of-14 from the floor, along with five three-pointers, four rebounds, five assists, and a steal in 24 minutes off the Magic bench.

On the season, Ross is currently averaging a career-best 14.6 points (on 42.2 percent shooting), 2.6 three-pointers, 3.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 0.9 steals in 26.5 minutes of action.

Orlando's victory on Wednesday was a big one, as they were able to secure the eighth seed in the East in an unexpected turn of events. The Detroit Pistons, Brooklyn Nets, and the Miami Heat all lost, which tightened up the race for the final few spots in the playoffs picture in the East.

The Magic have three more games remaining in the regular season, and at this point, their postseason hopes are completely in their hands.
