Cristiano Ronaldo wants Manchester United to rely on each other as they continue to bounce back this season.

The Red Devils have claimed their third English Premier League win on Saturday by beating Norwich City 1-0. Both clubs were unable to find much success in scoring goals but Cristiano Ronaldo's penalty on the 75th minute was enough to give Manchester United another must-have win.

Reflecting on the club's victory, Ronaldo stressed that the Norwich City win was another “step in the right direction,” urging his Manchester United teammates to do better in the succeeding games.

“One more step in the right direction. We know what we want and what we have to do in order to get it,” the five-time Ballon d'Or winner wrote on Instagram via Manchester Evening News.

“It's up to us! Well done, lads! Let's go, Devils!,” he continued.

To date, Ronaldo now has 13 goals and his latest has lifted Manchester United back up to just within three points of the top four clubs in the Premier League standings.

The club's interim boss Ralf Rangnick, meanwhile, is still looking forward to doing a lot better in the next matches.

“It was hard work and, in some parts of the game, we were doing well. In other parts, we lacked a little bit of intensity, body language and we were not as aggressive as Norwich were, especially up front,” Rangnick said postgame via Manchester United's official website. “We could have done with more intensity, with more physicality.”

Rangnick further pointed out that Manchester United will have to be prepared for “another difficult” match against Brentford on Tuesday.
