Markelle Fultz's career with the Philadelphia 76ers appears to be going nowhere at this point. In two seasons with the Sixers, Fultz has yet to show his full potential. Not to mention his worthiness of being the top overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft.

Though his career is only a year old, injuries have taken its toll on the playing time of the Washington product.

Fultz has only played for 33 games so far and has averaged 7.7 points per game, which is far from his numbers in college.

Back in his NCAA days, Fultz was seen as the next big thing in the NBA. His ability to score was undeniably impressive during his tenure with the Washington Huskies. His 23.2 points per game in 2016 is in fact the highest in the PAC-12 in the last 20 years. Fultz received a place on the All-PAC12 list that year as a result.

Philadelphia has recently denied that they are shipping Fultz away.

Though they've made this claim, this didn't stop Fultz's possible suitors from taking a good look at second-year player.

Teams like the Phoenix Suns have shown their interest for 20-year old. But according to Dane Delgado of NBCSports, they insisted that he better be truthful.

“He and his representatives need to be truthful, a league source says.”

In other words, potential 76ers trade partners don’t want Fultz saying that his right shoulder and wrist are bothering him if he actually has a mental block that’s hindering his shooting, the source said.”

There is no denying that Fultz is a talented individual. Above all, he is still young. He can probably make a splash in the league once he gets healthy.

In his rookie year he had shown flashes of his brilliance, as he became the youngest player ever to record a triple-double.
