Marshawn Lynch and the Seattle Seahawks are heading into the 2019 NFL playoffs hoping to make a surprising run to the Super Bowl. To start things off, they are traveling to the City of Brotherly Love to take on the Philadelphia Eagles. It won't be an easy game, but the Seahawks do appear to be the better team on paper.

Unfortunately for the Seahawks, Chris Carson and Rashaad Penny are out for the season due to injury. Those injuries forced Pete Carroll and the Seahawks to turn to free agency to bring in help in the backfield.

That help came in the form of Lynch, who returned from retirement for this opportunity. Robert Turbin was also signed out of free agency. Travis Homer is the current starter, but Lynch is going to continue getting more opportunities with more games played.

In his first game with the Seahawks against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 17, Lynch carried the football 12 times for 34 yards and a touchdown. He had a solid performance and said he felt better as the game went on.

All of that being said, let's dive in and take a look at some bold predictions for Lynch in this week's matchup with the Eagles.

Lynch Will Rack Up 75+ Yards For The Seahawks

Seattle needs a good game from their running backs to knock off the Eagles. Russell Wilson is one of the NFL's elite quarterbacks, but he will not be able to make this playoff run by himself. Lynch will be asked to handle a larger role than he had last week and he will take advantage of it.

When everything is said and done, Lynch will have racked up at least 75 rushing yards against the Eagles.

Seattle Will See “BeastMode” In Action

Anyone who knows about Lynch and his past with the Seahawks knows exactly what “BeastMode” means. It means when Lynch decides to turn on his playmaking ability and rumble for big yards while shedding defenders along the way.

This week against the Eagles, Lynch is going to have another one of those vintage moments. He will, at least on one occasion, have a 20 or 30-yard run that reminds us all of why we loved watching him so much. Lynch is going to put on a show this week for the Seahawks and their fans.

The Seahawks Will Defeat The Eagles, And Lynch Will Be A Big Reason

Seattle will get the job done this week against the Eagles. Lynch may not be the biggest reason, but he will be an impact player. The 75 or more yards and a score would be a huge role in the win for Lynch.

Coming out of retirement to play at the end of the season is not an easy task. Simply having him back on the field has been good for the NFL. Lynch will show that the Seahawks made the right decision giving him a call with a big game this week.
