The Dallas Mavericks stole a win away from the Boston Celtics to avoid the sweep. However, Game 5 is back in Boston and will be taking place on Monday, June 17. Despite staying alive in the NBA Finals, it sounds like one flight crew trolled Mavs fans on a flight to Boston.

Chris Forsberg, a reporter who covers the Celtics, claims the flight crew made an announcement before the flight took off. In the announcement, the pilots took a shot at Mavericks fans who were probably happy with the Game 4 win. Here's what Forsberg claims the flight crew said in the announcement.

“Crew announcement on JetBlue flight back to Boston: ‘Mavs fans, good for you. You got one. Probably just one.'”

Ouch! I mean it could be true though. The Mavericks and Celtics Game 5 matchup is back in Boston and it's hard to imagine Dallas walks out of there with a win. But then again, you never know.

In the last game, the Mavericks really took it to the Celtics. Dallas won the contest 122-84 and essentially ran Boston out of the gym. Luka Doncic finished with 29 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Meanwhile, Kyrie Irving recorded 21 points, four rebounds, and six assists. The remainder of the team played well too and it was exactly what the Mavericks needed to stay alive.

The Mavericks have a chance to stun the Celtics in Game 5 and extend this series. If they do, then upset buzz will start humming through the sports world. Unfortunately for Dallas, no team has ever come back from being down 3-0 in a series. But history could be made this year!

The Mavericks need another big game out of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. That's their only hope of at least making Game 5 competitive. Additionally, if Doncic can just focus on the game and not the refs, then that will help a ton too.

Outside of that, the rest of the team has to hit their shots and play good defense. That's a tough task considering how stacked the Celtics are. But if Game 4 was of any indication, the Mavericks have the tools to slow down Boston by quite a bit.

It's going to be a tough contest on Monday as the Boston crowd is going to be relentless. The Celtics will likely play their best as they aim to win their first championship since 2008. Additionally, Jayson Tatum can finally join the list of players who have a ring.
