Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers doesn't think Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic is 20-years-old because the Mavs' point-forward is playing too good.

Rivers says Doncic “plays too well to be whatever age they say he is.”

Doncic is playing like an MVP in just his second season in the NBA. The Mavs’ floor general is averaging 30.6 points, 10.1 rebounds and 9.8 assists per game while shooting 49.5 percent from the field, 34.7 percent from beyond the arc and 81.7 percent from the free-throw line.

Luka has 12 double-doubles and seven triple-doubles on the season for the Mavs, who are 11-5 entering Tuesday's matchup against the Clippers.

Derrick Rose is the youngest MVP in NBA history. He won the award during the 2010-11 season with the Chicago Bulls at the age of 22. Doncic turns 21 in February. It will be interesting to see if he breaks Rose’s record this season. Rose led the Bulls to the best record in the NBA during his MVP campaign.

Doncic was named the Western Conference Player of the Week for Week 5 of the NBA season. He put up 37.0 points, 11.8 assists and 8.5 rebounds as the Mavs went 4-0.

The Phoenix Suns and Sacramento Kings will forever regret not drafting this kid, as Doncic appears to be a generational talent.
