Monday's game between the Dallas Mavericks and Washington Wizards ended with a surprising result, as the fifth-seeded team in the Eastern Conference bowed down to the team with the fourth worst record in the league in a blowout, 98-75. Their point guards also engaged in a fiery back-and-forth after the game as J.J. Barea and John Wall took shots against one another.

The four-time All-Star mocked Barea's height and how the latter easily gets mad during games, leading to Barea throwing shade at Wall as the Mavs guard believes the Wizards playmaker is disliked by his own teammates, via Tim MacMahon of ESPN.

Barea and the Mavs frustrated Wall and the Wizards on the night as they limited the Eastern Conference team to only 30.6 percent shooting from the field, which explains why they only scored 75 points after 48 minutes. Barea and the other guards of the home team also played good defense on Wall as he finished the game with only 11 points, on 4-of-15 shooting, to go along with three rebounds and five assists, which is well below his season averages. Only Bradley Beal joined Wall in double-digit scoring for the Wizards.

Their choice words for each other will make their future matchups a must-watch, and it can be expected that both of them will be fired up to play at their best and lead their teams to victory. It will be very interesting to see if the Wall and Barea will continue their strong comments against each other as Monday's game is already the last time they'll meet in this year's regular season.
