The Dallas Mavericks suffered a 114-99 loss at the hands of the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday night, in a game where the Clips' reserves had another impressive outing. Mavs forward Kristaps Porzingis said that he felt that the Clippers came into the game eager to beat the hell out of them.

Three members of the Clippers scored at least 20 points, led by 28 from reigning Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard. The Klaw also had eight rebounds and four assists. Paul George had 26-4-2, while Lou Williams came off the bench and finished with 21-6-6.

Overall, the Clippers' second unit scored a total of 44 points.

Luka Doncic was once again sensational for the Mavs. The second-year guard put up 22 points, eight boards, and six dimes. Unfortunately, he didn't get much help from his teammates. Porzingis had a double-double with 15 points and 10 boards.

The Clippers have now won six straight games and are now third in the Western Conference standings, trailing only the Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Lakers. Meanwhile, the Mavs aren't that far behind as they're still the fourth-best team in the conference.

Dallas remains one of the most promising teams in the league, but they have been inconsistent so far this season. There are times when they looked like legitimate title contenders, and then they will lose to teams like the New York Knicks. They still have plenty of time to figure things out and their game against the Clippers should give them an idea of the things that they need to work on in order to get better.
