Dallas Mavericks big man Kristaps Porzingis has been on the receiving end of massive criticisms since the Mavs' 2021 playoffs ended. Instead of firing back to all the negative talks, however, he plans to let his game do the talking.
The Latvian unicorn hinted as much in his latest Instagram post, in which as if he's telling his haters and doubters to watch out for him when he plays net season.

True enough, Kristaps Porzingis is no longer new to being doubted. Heck, he was even welcomed with boos and anger when he was drafted by the New York Knicks in 2015!

In his second full season with the team, there were a lot of expectations that he could be the second superstar the team needed behind Luka Doncic. Unfortunately, that has not been the case as KP largely struggled and unable to find his rhythm under Rick Carlisle's Luka-heavy offensive scheme.
Porzingis was basically relegated to a floor-spacing, catch-and-shoot big man as the Mavs failed to fully utilize his postgame and defense.
With a new coach and a new environment in Dallas, though, it could be the start of a bounce-back for the 25-year-old. Nonetheless, that depends on if he will still be with the Mavs amid the several trade talks and rumors he has found himself in over the past few weeks. Not to mention that he has reportedly expressed the fact that he is not enjoying playing in the city and for the team.
It is still unknown what the Mavs will do with KP, but one thing is certain: Porzingis seems ready to prove himself once again.
