Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic had one of the worst games of the season against the Memphis Grizzlies, but that is the least of the Mavs' concerns right now.

After the game, Doncic admitted that his back is feeling bad after his hard fall on the concrete during the contest.

“Now it's worse when you get cold, so we'll see how it is tomorrow,” Doncic said when asked about the condition of his back, per  Callie Caplan of the Dallas Morning News.

For those who didn't watch the game, in the closing seconds of the second quarter, Doncic tried to recover a loose ball on his way to the basket. Unfortunately, it slipped from his hand and went out of bounds. As the Slovenian youngster followed the ball, he tried to avoid the ad by going over it, only to fall hard on his back onto the concrete.

The sound of the fall was already bad, and Luka's reaction as he writhed in pain sparked major concerns about his condition.

It is unknown whether the accident factored in his poor performance, in which he finished with 12 points, five rebounds, five assists and five turnovers. Luka Doncic was the worst performer for the Mavs, as he finished  with a plus-minus of -23 in the game.

However, based on his comments, it seems likely that Doncic was bothered by the pain in  his back after the fall.

Hopefully, the injury is not that serious and that he will not be sidelined as the playoffs near. With the Mavs not yet locked for a playoff berth, they need Luka to be as healthy and  100 percent as possible.
