Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic is well aware of what Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson can do to them, but he admits there is another threat that the Mavs should be wary of: Draymond Green.

For Doncic, Green will be the key for the Warriors in their attempt to slow him down and the Mavs. While Green is not a scoring juggernaut as his other two teammates, his impact on the Dubs' defense is just equally huge or even better.

“Obviously, Klay and Steph are incredible offensive guys, but I think the key to the Warriors’ team is Draymond. He’s just unbelievable. I really respect him and everything he does,” Doncic shared, per Tim MacMahon of ESPN.

True enough, Draymond Green is the anchor of the Golden State defense. When the Warriors' offense was not clicking during their past two playoffs series, it was his defense that made the difference for them.

Luka Doncic certainly expects Green to have the same impact in the West Finals, where the stakes are even higher. And so naturally, the Mavs have to be ready to deal with him.

Of course the Mavs are no easy opponents as well. Doncic is arguably the best player remaining in the postseason, and when you have the top player in any series, you always have a good chance to win. If you want any proof, then look no further than what happened in the second round between Dallas and the Phoenix Suns.
