Luka Doncic drew another technical foul against the Golden State Warriors on Sunday, and obviously, the Dallas Mavericks superstar was disappointed with the way he's being treated by the referees.

However, the Mavs guard knows better that he can't publicly criticize officials, not with the latest call putting him just three more techs away from an automatic one-game suspension. With that said, he simply defended himself about the technical foul and refused to discuss it further.

“I said I was going to twist my ankle. That’s all that I said. I’m not going to talk no more,” Doncic said of the technical foul, per Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated.

Luka Doncic now has 13 technical fouls, with 16 being the limit. Unfortunately for him, there are still 21 games left in the season, so he definitely needs to be careful and get a better hold of his behavior and temper on the court.

While it is understandable where Doncic is coming from, as he has said multiple times before how he is not getting proper treatment from the referees when it comes to foul calls, he also can't afford to be suspended because of it. He is the Mavs' lone star and their offense now revolves around him.

Furthermore, at this stage with the playoffs coming soon, Dallas needs Doncic if they want to keep a firm grasp on the fifth seed in the West or even attempt to climb up the ladder.
