Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis have been at the center of many rumors recently, mostly regarding their apparent “beef” with each other. For Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban though, those rumors aren't true because of one simple fact: the two still like each other's social media posts.

Yes, you heard that right. According to this Sports Illustrated article, the fiery Cuban went on record to say that the Mavs duo still are amicable because of them liking each other's posts.

“During an appearance on 97.1 The Eagle, Mavericks owner Mark Cuban explained how a ‘telltale sign' of the strength of the relationship between Doncic and Porzingis is how they are ‘liking' one another's social media posts.”

This feels less like NBA drama and more like teenage high school drama, to be honest.

On a serious note, social media activity has been used more and more to predict how players feel about certain topics. It helps that some players actually use social media to air our their frustrations subtly, like the time Dennis Schroder deleted any Lakers reference on his Instagram account.

However, that doesn't necessarily mean that everything that happens on social media is an indicator of their true feelings. Liking another person's social media posts isn't the “telltale sign” Cuban makes it out to be. Maybe Luka Doncic really is frustrated about Porzingis' late-night shenanigans during the Mavs' playoff run. Or maybe Kristaps Porzingis is truly tired of playing in Dallas as Doncic's sidekick. Truth be told, we may never know their true thoughts until one of them leaves.
