With the way he is playing, Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic has become a hot commodity not only in the league, but also in the sneaker free agent market.

Currently without a shoe deal, the Slovenian sensation has been rocking plenty of options to start the 2019-20 season, donning everything from Kobe 4 Protros to Curry 7s.

In Dallas’ game versus the San Antonio Spurs on Monday, Doncic opted to go with flashy, neon green sneakers, a new colorway for the UA Curry 7s aptly named “Sour Patch Kids”.

Injured Golden State Warriors superstar and Under Armour’s biggest ambassador Stephen Curry took to Twitter to compliment Doncic’s taste in foot wear.

Prior to being drafted third overall in the 2018 NBA Draft, Doncic usually wore the Nike Hyperdunk 2017 Low shoes during his stint in the EuroLeague.

His shoes seem to have given Doncic good luck, as the Mavericks handed the Spurs their sixth consecutive loss with a 117-110 beating.

Doncic came up with yet another massive triple-double of 42 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists – joining LeBron James as the only two players to ever record a 40-point triple-double before turning 21.

Apart from making a strong case to get the first All-Star nod of his career, Doncic has also inserted himself to the MVP conversation. The second-year guard is averaging stellar numbers of 28.5 points, 10.7 rebounds, 9.1 assists, and 1.3 steals per game, while leading the Mavs to an 8-5 record in the tough Western Conference.

Curry, meanwhile, continues to be sidelined for the Warriors after undergoing surgery to repair a broken left hand.
