Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki has yet to play in a game this season, but he's still having fun with his teammates, particularly Mavs center DeAndre Jordan.

Jordan is one of the few surprises we have in the league right now. The high-flyer, who has always been a putrid free-throw shooter, is shooting a career-high 78.1 percent from the charity stripe this season. Jordan has this routine where he talks to his teammates before he shoots his foul shot, and apparently it's working for the big man.

The Mavs take on the Houston Rockets Wednesday evening, and Dirk Nowitzki decided to impersonate DeAndre Jordan at the foul line, much to the delight of Mavs guard J.J. Barea and Jordan himself.

Jordan signed a one-year, $22.9 million free-agent deal with the Mavs in the offseason after spending the first 10 years of his NBA career with the LA Clippers. Jordan, of course, agreed to sign with Dallas in 2015, but had a change of heart and went back to the Clippers.

In 18 games with Dallas, DeAndre Jordan is averaging 11.4 points, 13.6 rebounds and a block. The All-Star is shooting 62.7 percent from the field. The Mavs are seventh in the NBA in defense, as Dallas is giving up 108.6 points per game. Jordan is a big reason why the Mavs have improved on the defensive end of the floor.

Dallas enters Wednesday's game with a 9-9 record, which is right on the outside of the Western Conference playoff picture. The Mavs haven't been in the playoffs in several seasons.
