Former NBA champion and Los Angeles Lakers stalwart Metta World Peace has found his way back in the news. The former defensive stud causes a stir every once in a while, and this latest scorching take has to have something to do with the ongoing Stephen Jackson and Kwame Brown drama.

It's nearly impossible to believe this take, so look for yourselves, via Metta's Twitter page.

It's pretty clear that this take has to be based off the ongoing saga between Kwame Brown and the crew who had been dissing Brown for his failed NBA career after being the number 1 pick. On the other hand, World Peace is, well, his name alone speaks for itself.

He was referred to as The Panda's Friend in China, then changed his name back. He's always been known for his interesting takes and perspectives. However, the former Lakers NBA champion might be a tad bit off here.

Should guys like Anthony Bennett be in the Hall of Fame because they are number 1 picks? Is Joe Smith a future Hall-of-Famer?

Perhaps that isn't quite what World Peace meant, but who knows. Either way, after reports surfaced of Stephen Jackson calling out Kwame Brown in an Instagram post earlier in the weekend, maybe Metta World Peace is getting in on the action.

Either way, this is a scalding-hot take and it really shouldn't surprise anybody given whose mouth it's coming from.
