With the Miami Dolphins Week 7 game against the Atlanta Falcons, everyone will be tuning in to see if Tua Tagovailoa can put on another solid performance. It's been a rough start for both franchises, but we'll be looking at this Dolphins-Falcons game with predictions in mind.

It's not too late for Miami to right the ship, but time is running out. This matchup against the Falcons is a must-win scenario if they hope to have a chance on making the postseason. For that to happen, the defense must step up and prevent a core Falcons playmaker from getting rolling.

The Dolphins seem a bit more fluid on the offense, even though the team has struggled winning games. Even so, it's not like the Falcons have an amazing defense. We should see Jaylen Waddle, Mike Gesicki, and Tua Tagovailoa all play a vital role in Sunday's matchup. With that said, here are four bold Dolphins Week 7 predictions against the Falcons.

Dolphins Week 7 Predictions

4. Dolphins defense finds a way to slow down Cordarrelle Patterson

Somehow Cordarrelle Patterson has been unlocked late in his career. He's been incredibly efficient while serving as the best player on the Falcons' offense. Patterson has become the main source of production out of Atlanta. For that reason, the Dolphins have to find a way to slow him down. If they can manage that, they should be able to contain their opponent throughout most of the game.

3. Jaylen Waddle finds the endzone once again

After having a two-touchdown performance, Jaylen Waddle proved to the world he has the talent to be a legitimate receiver in the NFL. Miami needs consistency on the offensive end and this is a great matchup for Waddle to take advantage of.

The Falcons likely won't be able to contain the Dolphins passing attack, especially if Waddle gets going early. For that reason, look for the rookie receiver to record at least one touchdown on Sunday. If he can manage that, Jaylen Waddle is sure to gain much more respect in the league.

2. Mike Gesicki makes a case as being a top 5 tight end

He proved to be one of the better targets in Week 6 for the Dolphins. Mike Gesicki has the talent to be a top tight end in the league and could be in for another big performance against Atlanta. It seems Tagovailoa enjoys throwing the ball to the big-bodied tight end, which bodes well for Gesicki's future outlook. Keep an eye on Gesicki, as he could be in for a dominant performance against the Falcons.

1. Tua Tagovailoa has another solid performance

He didn't look perfect in his last game, but there have been noticeable improvements in his skill set. Although there are rumors of the Dolphins potentially trading Tua Tagovailoa, he still has massive potential to be a top quarterback in the league. Now, he enters Week 7 with a favorable matchup and could repeat another solid performance.

We need to see growth from Tua in this next matchup. There were a few plays in his previous game that were quite shakey. If the young quarterback can clean up his game, then his career outlook will drastically improve.
