Michael Bisping is not afraid to voice his opinion. Sometimes that means some people will get absolutely destroyed. That's exactly what happened when he spoke about former UFC champion Tyron Woodley boxing against Jake Paul.
Most people have already criticized Tyron Woodley for getting knocked out by Jake Paul. Michael Bisping was more critical of Woodley's actually fighting style. He says the former UFC champion doesn't throw enough volume, something that has been said for years.
“The problem with fucking Tyron Woodley, and I say this all the time, in a sport like boxing where all you’ve got to do is throw punches, he doesn’t throw fucking punches!” Bisping said on his podcast. “That’s a problem! That’s a problem. He doesn’t throw enough. Diaz would, McGregor would. They might lose but they’d fucking throw, they’d fight, they’d turn up… Masvidal would beat him. Nate Diaz, we'll see what happens next year because that fight probably will happen.”
Jake Paul has many fun options ahead of him for potential boxing matches. There are many UFC fighters hoping to get an opportunity to meet him in the ring.
Tyron Woodley, on the other hand, most likely does not have many opportunities outside of the UFC. Michael Bisping doesn't even want to see him compete anymore.
“Tyron Woodley, I think Tyron needs to stop now,” Bisping said. “I think he needs to hang it up.”
It will be interesting to see what happens with the former UFC welterweight champion next. Jake Paul will have plenty of fun options.
