The Michigan football team is just a few days away from taking on Alabama football in the College Football Playoff semifinal at the Rose Bowl. The last time the Wolverines took the field was on December 2nd in the Big Ten title game. Michigan beat Iowa in that game to lock up their berth to the playoff, and they have now had almost a full month for the team to get healthy before they play the Crimson Tide. Michigan had some key players banged up, so that time off was crucial for them.

One key Michigan football player that has been battling an injury is defensive lineman Mason Graham. He played through a broken thumb injury for most of the season, but it didn't slow him down much as he was one of the best players on defense for the Wolverines this season. Still, Michigan obviously wants him to be at 100%.

Having all this time off has been good for Mason Graham, and he is now back at 100%. The Michigan team is in Pasadena at the Rose Bowl, and Graham noted during media availability that he is fully healed heading into this game, according to a tweet from Alejandro Zúñiga. That is great news for the Wolverines as the D-line will need to be stout in order to slow down Jalen Milroe and the Alabama offense.

So far this season, Graham has racked up 28 tackles along the Michigan D-line, and he also has three sacks and one forced fumble.  He has been terrific this season for the Wolverines, and he will need to bring his A-game to the Rose Bowl.

The Rose Bowl will kick off at 5:00 ET on New Year's Day from Pasadena, California, and the game will be airing on ESPN. Michigan is currently favored by 1.5, and the winner of this game will move on to the national title game against either Washington or Texas.
