It's no secret the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres do not like each other. They're arch-rivals in the NL West and aside from their competitiveness on the field, it appears their fans also don't see eye to eye.

Over the weekend, the Dodgers took two out of three from the Padres at Petco Park, and in the process, there were numerous fights between supporters from the two teams.

Damn. These guys were going at it and throwing absolute haymakers. Thought that was bad? Here's more:

The Dodgers won 10-2 on Sunday in the series finale. In all seriousness, this is all just unnecessary. We're literally talking about a sport where you're supposed to be supporting your team, not scrapping. We've seen numerous brawls across several professional sports since the COVID-19 pandemic, too. Frustrations are clearly boiling over.

LA is currently at the top of the division with an 11-4 record while the Padres are 10-7. There are extremely high expectations for San Diego after a disappointing 2021 as well. As for the Dodgers, well, they're World Series favorites again. Not surprising after acquiring former NL MVP Freddie Freeman.

The two squads won't meet again until the July 4th weekend.
