Philadelphia will turn to right-hander Vince Velasquez for the series opener. Velasquez is having a mediocre season with a 2-1 record and 4.25 ERA. The Giants have defended their home field better than anyone in the league and their offense is clicking on all cylinders. Philadelphia struggled to put runs on the board against the Dodgers in their last series and I have a feeling that may carry over. The Giants lead the National League in home runs and I expect them to add a few more to that total against Velasquez.
