The Los Angeles Dodgers infuriated the baseball world this offseason by signing free agent stars Edwin Diaz and Kyle Tucker. The moves came on the heels of the Dodgers' second straight World Series win, and increased calls for the league to implement a salary cap in order to prevent teams from stocking immense talent with unlimited payrolls.

Now, Dodgers fans are learning when the first time they will be able to see Tucker in action on his new team will be.

“BREAKING: Kyle Tucker will make his Dodgers Spring Training debut on Sunday vs. the Padres. He will also be in the lineup on Tuesday,” reported DougMcKain of Dodgers Nation on X, formerly Twitter.

The fact that Tucker's Dodgers debut will come against a divisional rival in the San Diego Padres, albeit in a preseason setting, will certainly be a sight to behold for fans.

If there were any weaknesses on the Dodgers' loaded roster, they have certainly been shored up now with the acquisitions of Tucker and Diaz. Last year, Los Angeles struggled to stay healthy in the pitching department, resulting in them having to go on the road for three of their playoff series.

However, the team got healthy enough in time for the playoffs, ultimately using their unmatched depth of talent to knock off the Philadelphia Phillies, Milwaukee Brewers, and the Toronto Blue Jays in seven thrilling games to win their second straight World Series, and third in the last six years.

Of course, there might be a slight adjustment period as Tucker and Diaz get adjusted to their new threads, but the Dodgers' insane rotation makes it so that they will be able to endure some periods of coasting throughout the regular season and will still likely be in a good playoff position.

In any case, the Dodgers' regular season is slated to get underway in late March.
