The Los Angeles Dodgers delivered the city of L.A. its second major sports title of 2020 by defeating the Tampa Bay Rays, 3-1, in Game 6 of the World Series.

After Game 6, a slew of celebrities shared their excitement about the championship, including a handful of L.A.-based athletes and sports teams — all of which the Dodgers social media team was happy to retweet and shared as they poured in.

Well, except for one.

While the Lakers, both local NFL teams (Rams and Chargers), MLS teams (Galaxy and LAFC), plus the WNBA's Sparks and NHL's Kings were immediately acknowledged by the Dodgers' social team, the one neighboring franchise to not get an instant retweet was, fittingly, the historically overlooked Los Angeles Clippers — who very much did not break their title drought in 2020.

To be fair, the Dodgers' social team did get around to retweeting the Clippers' congratulatory remarks, but not until about three hours after the final pitch:

Lakers superstar (and previous New York Yankees and Cleveland Indians fan) LeBron James was especially fired up by the Dodgers' October run and the organization's first championship in 32 years, just one month after he led the Lakers to the franchise's 17th NBA title:

Dodgers fans took to the streets to celebrate the World Series victory, but there almost certainly won't be a parade due to the COVID-19 pandemic, much to the chagrin of LeBron, Cody Bellinger, Kyle Kuzma and many others.
