It's no secret that New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge is in the midst of a MVP season and after failing to sign an extension before Opening Day, Bronx Bombers fans are definitely worried if he'll stay or not.

Well, on Friday, Judge continued his blistering campaign and put himself in the Yankees record books in the process, hitting his 35th home run. He's just the fourth player in franchise history to do so in the first 95 games, joining three absolute legends.

Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, and Babe Ruth. The craziest part? Ruth reached this feat four times in his career. As mentioned, Aaron Judge is also just the second player since 2013 to hit 35 bombs by game 95, just one shy of Chris Davis back when he was cranking tanks with the Baltimore Orioles.

Funny enough, this HR from Judge was against the O's too, taking a 2-1 fastball way deep into left-center field:

That ball got out in a hurry. It was a three-run bomb for Aaron Judge too, giving the Yankees a 3-0 lead early on after losing a doubleheader on Thursday to the Houston Astros down in Texas.

New York is still the best team in baseball record-wise and a big reason for that is Judge's offensive brilliance. He leads the Majors in homers by a healthy margin, with Kyle Schwarber six behind him with 29 long balls.

At this rate, Judge could potentially reach the 60-home run mark. Wouldn't that be something? But, his ultimate goal will be winning a World Series. If that happens, it'll definitely help New York's chances of retaining the outfielder this winter.
