Aaron Judge has yet to sign an extension with the New York Yankees, but that could change soon.
Brian Cashman made it clear on Saturday that NY is planning to offer their slugger a new deal prior to Opening Day on April 7th and according to Jon Heyman, it could potentially make him one of the highest-paid outfielders in the MLB alongside the likes of Mookie Betts, Bryce Harper, and Giancarlo Stanton:
Yankees are expected to make their first big pitch to star RF Aaron Judge by this weekend. No numbers known, but he figures to have a chance to secure the 5th highest total deal among outfielders (behind Trout, Betts, Harper and Stanton)

The Yankees stud becomes a free agent after the 2022 campaign and previously spoke out on his future in the Bronx, doubling down on his desire to stay with the franchise for the rest of his career. But, the former Fresno State standout also said he will not discuss a new extension after the season starts. That being said, the Yanks need to get this done in a hurry.
Judge has dealt with his fair share of injuries across the last few seasons, but he was solid in 2021, hitting .287 with 39 homers, which helped him finish fourth in AL MVP voting. Judge turns 30 very soon, with Kris Bryant and Marcus Semien recently securing deals in the $175-185 million range at the same age. It's expected the Yankees outfielder may receive a similar payday if the two sides come to an agreement.
For the Yankees' sake, let's hope Aaron Judge likes their offer.
