The Toronto Blue Jays have announced that Bo Bichette has officially made their World Series roster. Now fully back into the fold, one reporter is convinced of what his role should be.

Bichette is making his way back from a knee injury. He hasn't played since Sept. 6. And still, now that he is on the roster, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com argues he should be in the lineup every game.

“Regardless of where Bichette plays (2B, SS or DH), he belongs in the World Series lineup every day,” Matheson wrote. “This isn't something the Blue Jays need to overthink.”

“If he costs them a base defensively or running, so be it. His bat will likely make up for more than a base to balance it out,” he concluded.

During the regular season, Bichette hit .311 with 18 home runs and 94 RBIs. It marked his new career-best in batting average, as he led the team amongst hitters with at least 42 plate appearances. Furthermore, Bichette led the team in RBIs.

The Blue Jays have plenty of sluggers on their roster, as Bichette's home run total only put him in fifth. However, his ability to drive in runs will be crucial for Toronto. He gives their lineup more consistency and is a scary hitter opposing pitchers will need to face regularly.

Where he plays in the field is still up in the air. The fact he has been out all postseason could mean he is fully ready to play the field. Or, Toronto can stay cautious and opt for him to be the Designated Hitter.

Regardless, Matheson just wants to see Bichette's name in the lineup every game. After seeing him play through the regular season, the Blue Jays can't argue much.
