Some terrifying scenes occurred in aftermath of the Washington Nationals matchup with the San Francisco Giants on Sunday afternoon. According to the DC Police Department, law enforcement officers responded to a violent incident outside of Nationals Park. The DC Police Department reported that police were seeking an individual in connection to a reported stabbing following the conclusion of the Giants-Nationals game on Sunday afternoon.

The stabbing reportedly occurred in the 1500 block of South Capitol Street, and law enforcement is searching for a suspect, who was last seen heading towards South Capitol & G Street, SE, per the DC Police Department.

The stabbing reportedly occurred after the game ended in the afternoon, as thousands of fans exited Nationals Park simultaneously.
Washington lost all three of its games against the Giants in their three-game series, including Sunday's 12-3 defeat. The Nationals will get the day off on Monday as a scheduled day of rest, ahead of another three-game homestand against the Miami Marlins. After that, they take to the road and head to San Francisco for a rematch with the Giants on the West Coast.
