Gareth Bale is officially joining MLS as he moves to LAFC on a free transfer, and by the looks of it, he's ready to get to work.

After the news of his move to American soil surfaced, Bale himself confirmed the decision on social media. The Welshman, in fact, hyped fans up with his arrival with a simple five-word message.

Gareth Bale shocked everyone when he decided to leave Real Madrid after nine seasons with the club. While he had a love-hate relationship with Los Blancos fans, especially near the end of his time with the team, there was no denying that he was a key cog that helped them win multiple La Liga and Champions League titles.

Bale made a total of 258 appearances for the Spanish club throughout his near-decade run, scoring 106 goals and registering 67 assists. While his production has dipped over the past few years as his role with Real Madrid diminishes, he can still score and make an impact when given the chance. That much is clear when he was loaned to the Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League in 2020-21 and made 11 goals.

As reported earlier, Bale is joining a quality outfit in LAFC that has been dominating the Western Conference. He could suit up for the MLS Club as early as July 8th against LAFC's rivals, LA Galaxy, after the Secondary Transfer Window opens up on July 7th.
