The NASCAR Cup Series heads to the Nashville Superspeedway for the Ally 400. It is time to continue our NASCAR Cup Series odds series with a NASCAR Cup Series at Nashville Ally 400 prediction and pick.

NASCAR heads to Nashville for the fourth time in the Cup series. This is a 1.33-mile D-shaped track. It is the largest all-concrete track in the circuit. Nashville is also a fairly flat track. It has 14-degree banks on the turns while sitting at nine degrees on the front straight away and just six degrees on the back. While not a traditional short track, the size and flat track will act similar to some of the recent short tracks on the circuit.

Ross Chastain is the defending champion here, winning in 2023. Chase Elliott found a win here in 2022, while Kyle Larson grabbed in win at the first race here in Nashville.

Favorites To Win Cup Series at Nashville

Kyle Larson is the favorite in this race and has been fantastic here in Nashville. He took the opening race here in 201. In that race, Larson led 264 laps and finished second in the first stage and first in the second stage. In 2022, he was sixth in both stages and finished fourth. Last year, Larson was eighth after the first stage but fell back. Still, he would come back and end up finishing fifth in the race.

Denny Hamlin does not have the same record as Larson at this track but has been solid. In 2021, Hamlin struggled. He finished in the top ten of both stages but would end the race in 21st. The next year, Hamlin was great. He started on the pole and would be in second place in both stages. Hamlin would also lead 114 laps, but end up finishing sixth. In 2023, he once again was in a position to win. After starting eighth, he would be in fifth after the first stage, and then first after the second. Hamlin led 81 laps but would finish third.

Christopher Bell will be someone worth looking at if he can qualify well. Bell has been in the top ten at each race here, but being further back at the start has hurt him. In 2021, he would start 25th and work his way up to ninth. Then in 2022 he had his best starting position, sitting ninth to start but would finish eighth after sitting fourth after the first stage. Last year, Bell led three laps, after starting 22nd. He would be in ninth after stage one and then fifth after stage two. Still, he did not finish strong and would end up in seventh.

Chase Elliott is another driver with a win here, but like Denny Hamlin, he struggled in the first race. After starting sixth and leasing 13 laps, Elliott would finish 39th. He would rebound in 2022 after starting fourth. Elliott would lead 42laps, finish both stages in the top eight, then win the race. Last year, he started 14th but worked his way to a sixth-placed first stage and seventh-placed second stage. Elliott would lead a lap and then finish fourth.

Ross Chastain has the best track record at Nashville. He started in 19th in 2021, would lead four laps, and finish second to Larson. The next year, Chastain would have his worst finish. He would start seventh, but drop back. Chastain would work back to seventh at the end of the first stage. Last year was dominated by Chastain. He started on the pole, would be second after the first stage, and third after the second. Chastain would lead 99 laps and then win the race.

Sleepers To Win Cup Series at Nashville

Daniel Suarez is well down the odds board but has raced well here. In 2021 he started 22nd, but would make it to third after the first stage. After falling back, Suarez finished seventh. He started fifth in 2022 but would end up finishing 15th. Then, last year, Suarez started tenth and led a lap. He would be in the top ten until late but would finish 12th.

Cup Series at Nashville Prediction & Pick

This is one of the flat tracks that do not see a lot of passing. It is also a track that could easily see a large wreck taking out a chunk of the field, or at least pushing drivers back. That has happened to both Denny Hamlin and Chase Elliott before. Still, there are drivers with great track records at Nashville, such as Kyle Larson and Ross Chastain who deserve to be looked at.

Cup Series at Nashville Prediction & Pick: Larson Top 3 (+140), Bell top 5 (-125), Chastain Top 5 (+100)
