Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor seem to be circling each other again after not having mentioned each other in some time. Diaz took to Twitter to seemingly start fights with everybody.
The younger Diaz brother mentioned Vicente Luque, Dustin Poirier, and went off on McGregor. It all kicked off when Diaz posted a photo from ESPN with quotes from McGregor.

From there Nate Diaz proceeded to tweet several times in the Irishman's direction with most of them mentioning the leg break from July.

McGregor, not to be outdone, tweeted several times in Diaz's direction.

The two men last fought in 2016. The first fight came at UFC 196 in a short-notice affair for Nate Diaz. He would secure a submission win in the second round and proceeded to drop his famous “I'm not surprised…” line.
The pair met approximately five months later at UFC 202. This time, it would be McGregor who would get his hand raised, winning by majority decision after a five-round slugfest.
A trilogy has been hinted at for years but the two have gone in different career paths, notably Nate Diaz. Currently, they haven't been in the same weight class.
Nate Diaz finds himself at welterweight attempting to get a title shot against current champion Kamaru Usman. McGregor, on the other hand, has had his hands full at lightweight as he attempts to overcome Poirier and get back the title he lost back in 2018.
It will be interesting to see if anything comes from the freshly reignited beef. Is a trilogy in the works or is Diaz going to continue his journey to get a welterweight title shot?
