There are definitely a lot of things to cover here, and a lot of ways you can get around to building your empire now. NBA 2K22 Season 2 Build Your Empire Guide: MyCAREER

Whether you play in The City or in The Neighborhood, you have the opportunity to build your empire and establish a lasting legacy this season. The new season will introduce career-altering decisions, engaging drills and practices, lucrative endorsement deals, and the best competition in the world. Do you have what it takes to follow into the footsteps of Michael Jordan, and maybe, even surpass him?

NBA 2K22 Season 2 MyCAREER Level 40 Reward

Last season, the reward for reaching Level 40 in MyCAREER is a lightning-fast go-kart. This Season 2, players who reach Level 40 get a Skeleton Mascot Outfit. You can this cool new outfit by finishing quests, which includes all-new quests made available this season.

MyCAREER REBIRTH

One of the all-new quests in MyCAREER includes the new Rebirth feature. This gives players the opportunity to jump to a 90 overall in The City or skip 10 pre-completed MyPOINTS levels in The Neighborhood. To get the Rebirth reward in The City, you must first obtain the quest from ATM by the NBA Store and Club 2K. Then, you'll have to complete 10 3v3 or 10 2v2 City games with a 90 OVR or higher. To get the Rebirth reward in The Neighborhood, simply complete 10 3v3 games once they reach a 90 OVR rating.

Getting the Rebirth reward will allow players to choose between a normal, low-level save file when creating a new MyPLAYER, or instead choose a Rebirth save file for a much stronger, dominant MyPLAYER. Think of it as a sort of New Game+ feature for NBA 2K22 MyCAREER.

It's Fall Season in NBA 2K22

A new season is also coming in during Build Your Empire, and we've included here in our Build Your Empire guide all the new things you'll see in The City and The Neighborhood. NBA 2K22 has several events coming down the pipeline on both The City and The Neighborhood. Events like the Mobil 1 Grand Prix, Ruffles 4-Point Ridge Tournament, Kia CHallenge, and more will come in on Season 2 for various rewards. Most special among these is the Ruffles Tournament, where the best MyPLAYER can win a trip to Cleaveland for the 2022 All-Star Weekend, an NBA Store gift card, and in-game go-kart, among others.

Check out as well the changing looks of The City and Cancha Del Mar. Halloween season is all around us, with new makeovers showcasing the spooky season everywhere you go. Specifically for The City, players will be treated with “The Long Night” on October 31. We don't want to spoil you much, but all day long, players can trick-or-treat and receive banners, consumables, and even VC. For Cancha Del Mar, players can find their treats on Decks 4, 15, and 16. For The City, players will be able to trick-or-treat in different houses.

Finally, Park After Dark arrives later on in Season 2! A new location will be revealed later this Season, where players can hoop, shuffle, and rave in the desert. New experiences will be available, ranging from dunk contests to shootouts.

NBA 2K22 Season 2 Build Your Empire: MyTEAM

NBA 2K22 Season 2 Build Your Empire also brings a lot of new things to MyTEAM. From freebies to new quests and new rewards, there's a lot to cover. So without further ado, we move towards one of the most important changes on MyTEAM.

Triple Threat Online: The 100 Changes for Season 2

Triple Threat Online: The 100 will now no longer contribute to your 100 Points if you win the game. This will make it easier to arrive at the highest level of rewards in TTO. However, to balance things out, 2K also re-balanced the number of balls you get to drop each time you win or lose in TTO. New Event Cards can now also be earned from these ball drops, so keep your eyes on the prize!

Unlimited Mode Changes for Season 2

Each tier in Unlimited Mode will now have 16 games available. This means that everyone will have 16 games to get the 12 wins needed in Galaxy Opal tier to win Unlimited's featured player reward card. This gives players more leeway, as before, players had to go 12-0 to win the card. In Season 2 Build Your Empire, players can win the Pink Diamond Gary Payton from Unlimited. In the Showdown Tier, players will need 65 wins out of 82 games, which will reward players a whopping 15,000 XP!

New Domination Rewards for Season 2: Coach Cards

Domination Rewards have been updated for Season 2, with Pink Diamond 95 OVR Amar'e Stoudemire headlining the series. A new Domination track will make players go through the 75 years of NBA through 30 games, rewarding players with the first-ever Player Coach Cards in MyTEAM. These coach cards feature players at their prime as special, unique coach cards that you can use to boost your lineup, like Dennis Rodman, Bill Russell, as well as Stephen Curry.

New The Exchange Rewards

There are also new Exchange Rewards, with new Recurring Exchanges that can regenerate every now and then. Event Exchanges will also be introduced in Build Your Empire.

NBA 2K22 MyTEAM Season 2 Build Your Empire Level 40 Reward

Finally, we get on to the hot stuff. Grinding your way to Level 40 this season will let you get Pink Diamond 96 OVR Kevin Garnett. In our opinion, this even trounces the reward from last season, the Pink Diamond Carmelo Anthony. But don't fret! There are also a lot of great rewards along the way, so the grind will reward everyone who attempts it, whether or not you reach Level 40.
