For the special picks in the NBA-All-Star Draft, LeBron James took his buddy, Heat guard Dwyane Wade. Giannis Antetokounmpo was left with Mavs legend Dirk Nowitzki.

The reason there's a asterisk next to Westbrook and Simmons is because there was a trade in the NBA All-Star Draft. James told Giannis he wanted to trade Westbrook for Simmons so that Giannis could get his wish and have Westbrook and Embiid on the same team.
