The Rising Stars Challenge is one of the most anticipated events in the NBA All-Star weekend, as it gives the rookies and sophomores in the league a chance to showcase their individual skills. To simply put it, this is the All-Star Game of up-and-coming superstars in the league and the Sacramento Kings' Marvin Bagley is taking advantage of the opportunity.

Bagley is a major part of a Kings team that is trying to make the playoffs this season. He's currently averaging 13.3 points and 6.9 boards per game. He's also shooting 51 percent from the field.

The former Duke Blue Devil has seen his production increase since a slow start to his NBA career. The Kings are fighting for a playoff spot and Bagley is expected to play a big role in their quest.

As of this writing, Team USA leads Team World 134-121. Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma and Philadelphia 76ers point guard Ben Simmons are going head to head in this game and are the frontrunners to win MVP.

This is the perfect chance for these youngsters to prove that they have what it takes to lead their respective franchises to future success.

In a few years, some of the guys here will be the ones suiting up in the All-Star Game.
