Panini’s Prizm set has long been the gold standard for sports card fans all over the world. Its sleek chrome finish, coupled with a good market value, makes this an in-demand product. Now, NBA card collectors will have another reason to be more excited about Panini after they announced the brand's first Prizm NFT.

Just this week, Panini announced they are planning to release the 2020-21 Prizm set in a form that’s steadily gaining momentum in the market – NFT blockchain trading cards. The company added that they will hold a soft launch for a three-card Red Mosaic Prizm Preview pack on June 16. This product will cost 10$ for each pack.

Panini stated that they will release another pack variation a week after the said soft launch. This pack will contain three Green Ice Prizm Preview cards, which will cost buyers $20 each. The company also said that these Red and Green packs will be available for pre-sale a couple of days before their actual release. Great news for NBA card collectors.

These preview cards are designed by Panini to be pre-minted and limited to several copies before they are launched. The company added that once the pre-sell period closes and all the packs have been purchased, no other Red and Green packs will be offered.

While this may cause NFT collectors to panic, Panini also announced that will release the entire Prizm Basketball NFT Blockchain set by the end of July. These packs will include base Prizm cards, and Silver parallels. Popular inserts will also be made available in these NBA Prizm NFT packs, such as Donruss Net Marvels and NBA Hoops High Voltage.

With Panini’s foray into NFT blockchain products, via NBA Prizm NFT collectables, collectors are given a new dimension to their hobby and investment plans. Better stay tuned to these digital offerings so you can be first in line when they come out soon.
