With the NCAA Tournament coming to an end in the next couple of days and 60 of the 64 teams eliminated from national title contention, college basketball stars are beginning to make their intentions known in declaring for the 2018 NBA Draft in June.

The latest player to declare is Duke University's Marvin Bagley III, who took to Instagram to make his announcement.

I can’t believe the time has come for me to say this but I would like to announce that I will be declaring for the 2018 NBA Draft. First off I want to thank Jesus for putting me here and allowing me to show my gifts that he has given me. I want to thank my family and everyone who has been in my corner since day one, the support has meant a lot to me. I also want to thank those who doubted me and continue to doubt me, it only pushes me to get better every single day. I learned a lot this year on and off of the court and I’m thankful for the opportunity. Thank you Duke!!! 🔵⚪#JREAM

Here's the statement made by his coach, Mike Krzyzewski, via Duke Basketball's official Twitter page:

“No freshman has done more in his first year than Marvin. He's broken every record and he's represented us at the highest level. I'm proud of him bexuase he came in late and he adapted to the college game immediately. We wish him the absolute best. Marvin and his family have prepared well for this move. He's ready. I can only see great things happening for him in the future.”

Bagley III is projected to be selected in the top 10 this the NBA Draft, but of course, it'll depend on the drafting teams' needs at the time. The 6-foot-11 forward Bagley III finished his freshman year at Duke averaging 21 points, 11.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.9 blocks per game on 61.4 percent shooting from teh field and 39.7 percent from beyond the arc.
