The Westgate Las Vegas Superbook odds for the NBA 2019-20 season are in, with Milwaukee Bucks talisman Giannis Antetokounmpo as a 3/1 favorite to repeat as the Most Valuable Player next season. Closely trailing behind him is the last player to repeat as MVP, Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, who became the first-ever unanimous selection for the award during the 2015-16 season. He boasts 4/1 odds to walk away with the prestigious award at season's end.

Quickly following under them is James Harden of the Houston Rockets (6/1 odds), who finished as runner-up this past season after earning his first MVP in 2017-18. Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers and Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets — both big men at 10/1 odds.

Antetokounmpo could be primed for yet another monstrous season, especially if he can improve his jumper prior to the start of the upcoming campaign. Giannis is bound to stuff the stat sheet and the East hasn't gotten that much tougher besides the Philadelphia 76ers, giving him ample room to challenge for the best record in the East and perhaps the NBA with all the competition going on in the West.

Many are expecting Curry to have a full-fledged breakout season, with nothing standing in his way to bust out his full scoring potential with no Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson out for a considerable part of the season. The Warriors have made no prior plans to load-manage Curry, but could end up doing so at some point, given his history of injuries and the long run he's had the past five seasons.

Harden will find it difficult to notch the award again with another former MVP in his backcourt in Russell Westbrook. The two will be entertaining to watch together, but Harden won't be scoring 36.1 points per game any longer, not with another high-volume shooter right next to him.
