NBA champ Dwyane Wade is upset over how his words were taken in an interview recently. He was on The Dan Patrick Show and was hit with this hypothetical from Patrick:
“I want you to play GM…I'm going to let you start your team with Steph or KD. You get them their entire career.”
After thinking about it for a few moments and admitting that it's a tough decision, the NBA legend ultimately went with Steph Curry over Kevin Durant. He explained that he chose him because of the way he “has kind of revolutionized the sport.”
That being said, Wade is now calling a tweet in relation to this video “misleading and controversial.” This dig was taken directly at NBA Central's tweet, which reads: Dwyane Wade believes Stephen Curry has had a better career than Kevin Durant “Steph has kind of revolutionized the sport.” The tweet then links to this article.

Although the quote from NBA vet Dwyane Wade is accurate, it is easy to see where he thinks NBA Central took things too far. In the video of Wade on The Dan Patrick Show, he is clearly hesitant on who to choose. He also never says that he believes Curry has had a better career than Durant.
Wade even said “It wont make any sense. You can close your eyes and pick,” before explaining why he chose Curry to build his hypothetical NBA team upon.
