The upcoming NBA season is shaping up to be a very interesting one as new powerhouse teams seem to be ready to take the spotlight and dominate the rest of the competition. As always, the media have their fearless forecasts as to which teams will emerge as the best in their respective conferences, and for ESPN, it's going to be the Milwaukee Bucks in the East and the Denver Nuggets in the West.

Last season, the Bucks finished with the best record in the league (60-22), while the Nuggets ended up second in the Western Conference (54-28). None of them were able to reach the NBA Finals, as Milwaukee was taken down by the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference Finals and Denver was ousted by the Portland Trail Blazers in the Western Conference semi-finals.

According to ESPN's summer forecast, the Bucks will finish next season with the best record in the league once again at 57-25, while they have the Nuggets going 54-28.

Meanwhile, they believe that last season's NBA Finals protagonists, the Raptors and the Golden State Warriors, will finish sixth in their respective conferences.

The Bucks have decided to keep last season's core intact. They will once again be led by reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, as well as Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe, and Brook Lopez. On the other hand, the Nuggets will continue to rely on All-Star big man Nikola Jokic and promising youngsters Jamal Murray and Gary Harris.

Milwaukee has never won a championship since 1971. As for Denver, they have yet to win their franchise's first-ever championship.

One of them could potentially end that title drought next season;
