After spending just two seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers, Serbian point guard Milos Teodosic has decided to leave the NBA and play overseas once again. Only this time, he won't be returning to EuroLeague.

According to Nikos Varlas of EuroHoops.net, Teodosic signed a three-year deal with Italian basketball club Virtus Bologna, one of the most prominent and storied franchises in Europe. The amount of money he will be getting hasn't been disclosed, but there is reportedly no opt-out clause in the 32-year-old point guard's contract — which means he's locked with the team until 2022.

Varlas added that Teodosic is also going to be one of the best-paid players in entire Europe.

Teodosic is considered as one of the best international point guards of the modern era. He was named as the EuroLeague MVP in 2010 and won a EuroLeague championship back in 2016. He joined the Clippers a year later and was fairly impressive in his first NBA season, but last year, he only played 15 games and put up measly averages of 3.2 points and 2.1 assists.

It is understandable for Teodosic to choose to head back overseas. His already came late into the NBA and he was obviously being torched by the league's best point guards. His contract with Virtus Bologna is probably his last chance at a big paycheck.

Teodosic's career in the NBA may be brief and underwhelming, but that will never diminish his legacy as one of the best point guards in the history of European basketball.
