Milwaukee Bucks superstar swingman Giannis Antetokounmpo has increased his lead over Houston Rockets star shooting guard James Harden as the MVP favorite.

Antetokounmpo was -225 to win the award back on March 11. Entering Monday, The Greek Freak is at -400 now, according to BetOnline.ag.

Giannis has led the Bucks to the best record in the NBA. The Bucks are 60-21 on the season. They will have home-court advantage throughout the playoffs.

Antetokounmpo is averaging 27.7 points, 12.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game this season. The three-time All-Star is shooting 57.8 percent from the field, 25.6 percent from beyond the arc and 72.9 percent from the free-throw line for the Bucks this season.

Giannis has 54 double-doubles and five triple-doubles on the season.

Harden has been on a scoring tear all season. The reigning MVP leads the league in scoring at 36.1 points per game. Harden has scored 60-plus points two times this season.

At one point in the season, the Rockets were in the 14th spot in the Western Conference standings. Now, Houston is in the third spot, mostly because of Harden and his spectacular play.

But since the Bucks have had the best record in the NBA much of the season, the NBA betters still believe Giannis Antetokounmpo is going to take home the MVP award at the end of the season.
