It sure looks like veteran center Joakim Noah has a number of options this offseason.

According to Marc Stein of the New York Times, Noah has received interests from the NBL and some NBA teams this offseason. The former Chicago Bulls center is currently an unrestricted free agent who is coming off a solid season with the Memphis Grizzlies.

The New Zealand Breakers are reportedly trying to convince the 34-year-old big man to play in Australia's NBL. Noah's former Florida Gators teammate Matt Walsh, who owns the Breakers, is said to be leading the recruitment.

Per Stein, Walsh called Noah a “dream signing.” The Breakers owner also pitched to Noah that the NBL is a chance for him to play in a different league before returning to the NBA — just like what Andrew Bogut did with the Golden State Warriors last season, playing for the Sydney Kings before re-joining the Dubs.

However, Noah is still assessing his options and is reportedly taking a “selective” approach in his free agency. He also received calls from NBA teams looking to add frontcourt depth this summer.

Noah had some sort of a bounce-back campaign with the Grizzlies in the 2018-19 season. He averaged 7.1 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 42 contests last year, which is a massive improvement from his 1.7 points and 2.0 rebounds per game averages the previous season.

Joakim Noah is a two-time All-Star and former Defensive Player of the Year. While his best days are behind him, he remains a serviceable backup center who can give quality minutes.
